artist statement

 

 

       My work explores and reflects the moments and experiences of the past, and brings them to the forefront. In recent work I used photography as my primary medium. Real people and their real experiences are the core of my work, however I aim to combine reality with fantasy by bringing together fragments of the past into the present, in real time and spaces. My work examines and captures the experience of the subject being photographed, and values the process as well as the artwork itself.
