Gözde Efe is an artist using photography, video and film as her main mediums. Currently, she is working on video installations and conceptual photography projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She gained her Bachelor’s Degree in School of Communciation Sciences at Anadolu University, in Eskişehir, Turkey.  She is an MFA Candidate at the San Francisco Art Institute, and Research Assistant at Anadolu University. Her films were screened in various national and international film festivals. Her two short documentaries were sponsored by the European Union organizations. She was awarded from the Directorate of Cinema Ministry of Culture of Turkey, as well as the  from San Francisco Art Institute.
